Jody D’Arcy is a proud West Australian, who is passionate about design, art and the beautiful Australian landscape.
Jody is widely recognised for her landscape, aerial and nature photography and is inspired by the beauty of WA’s rich and diverse ecosystems.
She now calls herself a “professional cloud collector” and her successful cloud image series has been translated into limited edition prints, wallpaper and sold around the world.
Jody loves simplicity, beautiful hues and complimenting textures and tones.
She is highly skilled and experienced in editorial and commercial imagery for magazines, brands, companies and creatives. Her work brief is broad and extends from portraits to fashion to the intricate details of fine art.
Jody specialises in considered, styled interiors and architecture. Her work is regularly published in some of Australia’s leading mastheads including Belle Magazine; Vogue Living; Gourmet Traveller; House & Garden; Home Beautiful Magazine; Inside Out Magazine and more.
Jody’s images traverse the fine art space, with her work on the walls of many sophisticated residences and boutiques including Louis Vuitton’s Perth boutique.
She is a specialist in design, interiors with an editorial, aspirational aesthetic. The same eye that makes her art pieces sort after to become interwoven in the spaces she captures.
Her background before starting her own business was 9 years as a senior photographer with News Limited, a multi-award-winning photojournalism career covering all genres from news and sport and people from Kylie Minogue to the Dalai Lama.
